The chap was painting pa picture of the buildings at the canal wharf when I wandered the area with my camera. We were both taking advantage of the lovely light to make our images and I stood and chatted with him awhile before asking if he would mind me making a photograph or two.

What a pleasing color palette in those photos!

Thanks Jim. I used the Grain2Pixel Photoshop plugin to convert them. It does a nice job, although I still need to make additional tweaks to get them just how I want them.

I have a photograph of the same artist at the same location! I do enjoy seeing how others shoot the same subjects…
I’m afraid you’ll have to wait until November (or Monovember as I’m calling it this year🙂) before you get to see it on Postcard Cafe.
Have a great weekend

Was it taken on the same day? I’ll look forward to your version next month.

Yes! It was taken the same day.
I’m sure our paths will cross at some point…

Did you spot the other fella with his easel in one of the arches beneath the straddle wharf?

I didn’t spot a second artist. Just recently there have been paddle board classes at that end of the quay!

I only just spotted him. I didn’t make a photo though as he was quite dimly lit and I had 100asa film in the camera. You can see the leg of his easel in the arch on the left side of the first photo in this post.
