A bit Leica like a
This is a Fed 1 rangefinder that I was given a few months back. It’s a copy of the Leica II. I’m not sure if this one works properly – the shutter seems to fire, but I can’t alter the aperture.

The Red Deer
Tucked away from the main thoroughfares is the Red Deer pub. I’d kinda forgotten this was here, but it used to be a fairly regular haunt for a lunchtime drink in my early days of employment.

In Sheffield city centre, next to the town hall, is a police box. It’s often referred to as the TARDIS, likened to Doctor Who’s vehicle of the same name, but this one is a different shape and painted green, not blue.

Walking past the cheesegrater
The building in the background of the shot is a bit of a landmark in Sheffield (and one of the most photographed buildings in the city it would seem). It’s a multi-story car park, and its distinctive cladding provides countless compositions depending on the shooting spot, angle, lens, light etc.
