Rubber duck shop

There were a number of shops in Dubrovnik old town that sold nothing but rubber ducks. While regular rubber ducks were available, so were ducks resembling a whole range of other characters, from pug dogs to Darth Vader.

I didn’t buy one though – we don’t have a bath, just a shower, so they don’t tend to float very well. 🙂

    1. I find that many tourist towns tend to have this sort of novelty shop, whether rubber ducks or something else. The passing trade from visitors no doubt keeps them busy in a way that the locals won’t.

      1. I’m sure you’re right about tourists keeping these sort of novelty shops going. Still, I’ve never seen a rubber duck shop anywhere, ever. Haha. It is comical, though.
