I wonder how many times that title has been used for similar posts?
An older shot, from a trip to York back in the summer. I think I might’ve already posted a similar shot, taken at the same location and time, but that one was in portrait format, so this is a new one.
Olympus OM-1, F.Zuiko 50mm f/1.8 & Ilford HP5+.
Taken on 10 June 2017

My late Uncle shot with Olympus. Lovely shot

Thanks James. I bought my OM-1 because the photographer Jane Bown used one to take many of her photographs and I thought, based on her results, that it would be a good choice. And it was. 🙂

She was a photographer for The Observer for much of her career. She produced loads of lovely portraits, and also lots of ‘personal’ street-style shots, many with her OM-1 and Tri-X. There’s a nice book of her work called A Lifetime of Looking that’s worth checking out.

Great stuff. Sounds like an Irish Guy from the mail who took the first pictures of Diana. Interesting man
