It’s that copse again

I’ve shared pictures of this same copse of trees on a few occasions, and here it is again.

Slightly different this time in that it’s a digital image, taken with my newly acquired (but pre-owned) Nikon D810, with which I’m going to attempt some DSLR scanning of 35mm negatives (and perhaps medium format too at some point if all goes well).

It would be a shame to use it just for scanning negs though as it’s a pretty accomplished camera, despite the model originally launching back in 2014, and I quite fancy doing some landscape photography with it when time and conditions allow.

I’ll post more on how the neg scanning goes once I have everything I need.

Empty and occupied

Two car interiors – a Morris Minor and a Ford Popular. The bedraggled creature occupying the drivers seat of the Popular is, I believe, a womble, as featured in classic and beloved British TV show from the 1970s, The Wombles. 🙂

The wombles in the TV show were much better presented. Perhaps the showbiz lifestyle has taken its toll here…

Bored! Bored! Bored!

Those were the words of Vyvyan the punk in the classic British 1980s sitcom The Young Ones. And they align with my feeling about posting pictures of Malaga which I’ve now been doing for <checks blog> the last five weeks or so,

I’m not actually bored of my pictures, or of Malaga itself, just the act of posting an almost continual daily stream of them since early October. It will be a nice change to post some different stuff, I think. I guess that shooting four rolls of film and getting lots of pictures I liked is what leads to this situation. There are worse things, I suppose.

With that in mind, I’ll drop a big image dump of some remaining Malaga pictures today before posting something new tomorrow.

The building covered in netting is the old post office building in Malaga. Apparently Enno Haar wasn’t there though. I have no idea who Enno Haar is.

I liked the building as a subject for a picture, but I think the framing with the traffic lights makes the shot.
