Adox Silvermax has quite a pleasant grain to it. It’s more prominent in this shot because it was a little underexposed. The clouds ‘pop’ nicely in the sky thanks to the red filter too.

There’s a bit of camera-shake in this shot but, in this case, I don’t think it harms the shot and adds a little ‘grit’.

While I was waiting for the sun to appear behind a cloud so I could take a photo with my Mess-Ikonta, I grabbed this quick shot of a re-purposed industrial building with the OM-1.

In the millennium Gallery in Sheffield, there is a giraffe constructed from cutlery. This is a close-up of its neck (complete with a variety of distorted spoon selfies 🙂 ).

I shot a roll of Adox Silvermax recently. I’ve shot this before and had lovely results, but the negatives for this roll came back pretty thin. Now, I’ve had this occur a few times with different films, and I tend to like the high contrast look I get from the underexposed results – as I do with today’s photo.
Still, I’d rather they’d come out properly exposed. Maybe I need to change the battery in the camera?

As on many bridges around the world, the pedestrian footbridge across the river Wye at Bakewell in Derbyshire is festooned with padlocks placed there by couples, friends, and anyone else with a reason to attach one.
