I thought I’d break up the flow of recent colour shots with an, erm, older colour shot – the twist here being that it’s Portra 160 converted to B&W because it just looked better that way.

A couple of photos I took on the walk from St. Pancras to Camden Lock the other week. The weather on the first day of the trip was much nicer than the second, with loads of nice light and blue skies.

There was wonderful light on the day this was taken. Although it was mid afternoon and the sun was still high, the way it fell down in pools between shaded areas was lovely.
